It is only Tuesday, but finding activites to keep the kids busy and entertained during lockdown is getting increasingly difficult.

To try and help ease the frantic search for new things to do we have listed our favourite five things to do this half-term:

1. Get animated (17th February 2021)

Bristol Museum is running a workshop for 13 - 19 year olds interested in animation. Through Zoom you will get to explore the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery and then get taught how to animate! Plus, it's completely free. Book your place here: Half-term workshop for young people: Animation in a day - Bristol Museums

2. Explore the universe (From 18th February 2021)

The silver dome may be closed for now but We The Curious are offering to show you Life in the Universe from the comfort of your own sofa. Find out more here: Planetarium Nights At Home - Life in the Universe with We The Curious - Visit Bristol

3. Make some art (17th - 18th February 2021)

Callling all young artists - get involved in these two workshops and experiement with new ways of creating art Junior Drawing School with the RWA - Visit Bristol

4. Getting to know Police Horses and Dogs (19th February 2021)

As part of their Big Day Out - log onto BBC Bristol's Facebook page at 10am to find out more about the horses of the police force and 2:30pm for the dogs section

5. Celebrate the Lunar New Year (17th - 23rd February 2021)

It's the year of the Ox so get invovled with the Bristol Museum's celebration with music, dance, talks, crafts and lots more! Find out the whole schedule here: Lunar New Year Festival: Year of the Ox | Bristol Museum & Art Gallery (bristolmuseums.org.uk)

Hopefully these give you some inspiration to entertain the kids (and yourselves)! Let us know what you choose to get involved in this Half Term, or if you know about any other activites happening.

And never forget - You're all doing a fantastic job!
